Sin embargo, el santo profeta Ezequiel predijo que la ciudad ser\u00eda destruida.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Mucha gente no crey\u00f3 en la profec\u00eda de Ezequiel, ya que la ciudad parec\u00eda demasiado fuerte para ser destruida.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, el profeta anunci\u00f3 numerosos detalles sobre lo que le ocurrir\u00eda a la ciudad. Inicialmente, declar\u00f3 que un rey de Babilonia llamado Nabucodonosor la combatir\u00eda. Despu\u00e9s, numerosos pa\u00edses vendr\u00edan a combatirla, y la ciudad ser\u00eda arrasada y desbastada como una roca desnuda.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Ezequiel tambi\u00e9n anticip\u00f3 que las piedras, los troncos y la tierra de la ciudad ser\u00edan arrojados al mar. Los alrededores de la ciudad se convertir\u00edan en un lugar donde se dispersar\u00edan las redes de los pescadores. La historia registra que cada una de estas predicciones se hizo realidad. Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, rode\u00f3 la ciudad de Tiro y derrib\u00f3 las fortificadas murallas.
